Privacy Policy
Hexvale
Last updated: October 31, 2026
Hexvale ("the game") is a game developed by Vladislav Alhasov ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game handles, and why.
No account needed
The game needs no registration and never asks for your email address or phone number. Your progress (islands won, stars, coins, decorations, the Daily Isle's streak) and your settings are stored only on your device (and in your own iPhone backup). They are never sent to us, and they are deleted when you delete the game.
Analytics
We use Amplitude, an analytics service, to understand how the game is played and to find and fix problems. It receives game events (for example the game opened, an island started, won or lost, a booster used, or a setting changed, a purchase made), error reports from the game, how long the game takes to load, session length and frequency, the device type, operating system version and language, a random identifier created when the game is installed, and the IP address of the connection, from which Amplitude works out an approximate location (country, region and city). This information is not linked to your name, email address or Apple Account, and it is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites. See Amplitude's privacy notice.
Advertising
This version of the game shows no ads. It contains no advertising code, does not use your device's advertising identifier and never asks for permission to track you. If a later version adds ads, this policy will be updated before that version is released.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details. The game only checks, on your device, which purchase was made so that it can deliver it. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
Reminders
If you allow notifications, the game schedules its reminders on your device (for example that today's Daily Isle is ready). Your device creates and shows them by itself: nothing about them is sent to us or to anyone else. You can turn them off in the game's Settings or in iOS Settings > Notifications.
Sharing
When you share the game, its text and App Store link go through Apple's share sheet to the app and the people you choose. We do not receive what you share or who you share it with. The analytics only record that a share happened, from which part of the game, and which app it went through (for example Messages).
Feedback form
If you write to us on the feedback page, we receive your message, the game version, platform and language, and your email address only if you choose to give it. The form is run by Netlify, the host of this website, which also records the IP address and browser details of each message. We use all of this only to read and answer your message.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep analytics data only as long as it helps us improve the game, and feedback messages only as long as we need them to answer you. Deleting the game deletes everything stored on your device; if you install it again, it gets a new random identifier. To ask us to delete data we hold about you, write to us on the feedback page and include the ID shown at the bottom of the game's Settings, so we can find the analytics data that belongs to your device.
Service providers
Amplitude (analytics), Apple (purchases) and Netlify (this website and the feedback form) process the data described above, mainly in the United States. We share data only with providers that protect it at least as well as this policy describes and as Apple's App Store rules require.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example the United Kingdom or Switzerland), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, and to complain to your data protection authority. We use analytics and feedback data on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and improving the game. To use your rights, write to us on the feedback page.
Children
The game is made for a general audience. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new "Last updated" date.
